Please watch this...

Now read this.

Can you think of anything better to do???

Monday, January 28, 2008

Score!

She's finally mine!! I did like Gigi, and asked at my local Pier 1, if they would sell me the floor model of their gorgeous Project Desk and they did!!! Not only was it on clearance, but I got an extra 20% off.

You can see more of my scrap space and find out the details on Work In Progress's blog.

I can't stop looking at it. Now if I could get some mojo to work on it, it would be super...

It was Perfect!!!

We're back from our trip to Disney and I have to say it was even better than I could have imagined.

Being there with Natalia for the first time made it an entirely different experience for Juan and I.

We LOVED it!

Her face when we got there was priceless. She was so excited and she enjoyed every bit of it.

Here are some pics of the fun...

My sweet girl and I waiting to go have breakfast with chef Mickey.

Under Spaceship Earth at Epcot.

The whole fam striking a pose with Minnie

At the Mad Tea Party ride. She LOVED that one and I had to do it twice in a row...

The beautiful castle where Cinderella lives. We had such great weather everyday and the sky was gorgeous that day.

This face just melts my heart! We were watching the fireworks at Magic Kingdom, and she kept saying "Mom, I've never seen anything like this!!!". I wept.

Posing outside All Star Movies Resort. We got The Love Bug building and she was so impressed with the "gigantic" (her word) stuff all around :)

The highlight of the trip. Meeting the princesses. She was so starstruck and acting so proper and poised around them. More tears...

We finished our trip with the gorgeous Spectromagic parade at Magic Kingdom. Such a perfect way to end the experience. Again, more tears from Mama...

It was wonderful and we're already planing the next one for September and this time we're taking my sis and niece. I can't wait.

Sorry for the huge post and the tons of pics but I am still high on Disney magic!!

I have tons of work to do, so I better start.

Have a beautiful week!

What has me really excited is finally seeing the expression on Natalia's face when she's standing in front of this next week...

I'm gonna need lots of this...

very soon!! We are finally going to Disney. It's Natalia's first trip and Juan and mine's fourth.
We are so excited, it's not even funny.

We're driving up to Orlando on Monday and I have had butterflies in my stomach, like a kid would, all week long.

I. Can't. Wait.

Before I go here's a HUGE congrats to my pals on the Prima DT. Way to go, girlies!!!

I love custom work.

I have been taking a lot of custom orders for Handmade by ANILU lately, and I am really enjoying it.

It's great being able to give someone exactly what they had in mind.

Here are some I did for my pals...

This one's for Jenny. She wanted a brown/aqua combo.

This is for Christi. She came up with the idea of putting together purple and aqua.

Barb's long wood necklace. This one looks very cool on.

These two shall remain a secret, cause the owner wants it like that ;) Shhh...

Thank you so much for liking my stuf. I hope you're enjoying it.

If you want your own, contact me at anilumagloire@yahoo.com or through my Etsy shop, Handmade by ANILU.

Still going strong.

First things first...
The stamp RAK winner is...

Blogger CAKVD said...

These stamps are hot!! My New Year's resolution is to donate $1000 to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation and since I'm a SAHM with no income, I have vowed to not spend any money on craft supplies this year in order to have enough money to donate. These stamps sure are a temptation!!
Thanks!
Cheryl KVD

Cheryl, please email me your address at anilumagloire@yahoo.com so I can send your stamps!
Thank you all for participating :)
I loved doing this and I will be doing it more often for sure.

My mojo is still around and I am taking advantage of it.

I did a LO for Pencil Lines' Stacy Jualian sketch which I loved. A simple design and lots of pics. I am into fitting lots of pics in pages lately.

This other one is of the tree lighting party in Coral Gables. She enjoyed it like cazy and so did Juan and I. How cool is that KI lace card stock!?!? I hope it wasn't so expensive :)

They are both 2 page. 8.5 x 11 LO, expertly stitched by the hubs.

Thanks honey!

Yesterday morning I got to meet one of the sweetest girls ever. La Verne came over to pick up her necklace and we spent a little while chatting and getting to know each other.
She is just a delight! I smiled all day yesterday thanks to her.

I know we're gonna friends for a loooong time :)

Lots of house work to do. Yipee???

High productivity weekend!

I was a scrapping fool this weekend. I haven't felt like this in such a long time. I loved it. Really loved it.

I used kits I had just lying there.

I only wish I had more pics to scrap. That problem will soon be fixed after our trip to Disney.

Here they are. Hope you like them.

My baby girl in awe of the huge Santa Claus...

Giving me her best poses next to the tree...

A pic of her that I love. I used one of the amazing little letter pressed cards I found on Etsy. They are so thick and luscious, I just can't get enough of them!

I have new stuff on Handmade by ANILU. Come check it out...

Now, for the stamp RAK winner.....

Stay tuned :)

I have lots and lots to do to leave the house in order for our trip to Disney. I am getting so excited just thinking of her reaction when we get there.

Today, I get to meet LaVerne, so I'm off to get ready. I am so excited :)

Enjoy the week!

I loved it.

The Bucket List
was great. I laughed and cried and I felt great after watching it. I give it an enthusiastic thumbs up!

My crop with Barb was great as always. It was just the two of us, and we had a blast.
I actually scrapped and managed to produce 4 pages that I really love.

It also felt great to get over it, and just dig into my stash and cut it up and glue it down and enjoy it.

I am very inspired to create so I'm planning on spending my weekend scrapping and making more jewelry for Handmade by ANILU.

Enjoy yours!

I'm off to the movies...

to watch The Bucket List. I really need a good laugh right about now. I really hope it doesn't have a sad ending...

Later today I'm finally getting together with my scrap girls, after a long crop hiatus. I can't wait to see them all, and dive into my delicious Studio Calico kits!!!

Have a happy, fun weekend!

No other title will do here. Look what is up for preorder on Amazon...

I am beyond excited! It's gonna seem like forever until I have it in my hands.
I was lucky enough to be asked to contribute to this amazing book by the super talented Crystal Jeffrey Rieger, and I am over the moon about it!

I have to finish another great scrap project I am SUPER excited about. I'll tell y'all about it soon ;)

Have great Thursday!

Run, don't walk...

and get this book now. Right now. Go. Shoo!!
It really will change the way you scrapbook and release you of all those silly things we care about when trying to create.
I read it cover to cover and I absolutely loved it. Plus, Ali signed it just for me so it really doesn't get any better than that.

It would be the perfect gift for any scrapper.

I know the book has been around for a while now, but I just got my copy a few weeks ago and I just had to share this with you.

Speaking of Ali, I have decided my word for 2008 will be FAITH.

I really need more of it right now. Times are uncertain and I need something to hold on to.

I really want to be able to let go and rely on my FAITH.

A couple more pieces added to Handmade by ANILU...

Don't forget to post for the stamp RAK here.

Later!

ETA: This is the "Davinie" necklace, custom made for my dear, beautiful, talented friend Davinie!!!!!

This is the Emily necklace and it was made especially for my dear Emily.

This is a custom order for Kristi. I really love how those two colors look together. This is just part of the necklace. She should be the first one to see the whole thing ;)

These are another custom order for Nik. Hope you like them, girlie!!

Before I go, I want to ask you to keep my friend Christine Middlecamp in mind. She is putting her dear husband Eric to rest today, after a long battle wit brain cancer.

She has documented their long and painful journey through her blog and has shown me what strength, grace and unconditional love are.

If you want to do something for her, see this.

My heart and mind will be with her.
