Bows her head down in shame...

Yes. I admit it, in case it wasn't completely evident already. I am a hard core Twilighter, member of Team Edward.

I just had to put it out there so you know there's gonna be LOTS of Twilight talk in this blog from now on.

So, there you have it.

Other than obsessing over teenage vampires and werewolves, I have been working on custom orders for Handmade by ANILU.

I have been lazy and have not made anything to upload on Etsy, but I am still very much working on my jewelry and if you want something for Christmas, just drop me a line at:
anilumaglore@yahoo.com
and I'll make anything you'd like for you.

Here are a few custom pieces I made this week.

I have to go clean this house.

Have a great Tuesday, loves!

Back in the saddle.

I have started working on Handmade by ANILU pieces again and my shop should be filled in time for Christmas shopping.

I have some cool ideas and I hope you'll like them too.

I made these a few days ago for a custom order.

Don't they look like candy?

If you need or want something (old or new), drop me line at anilumagloire@yahoo.com

I'll leave you with another digi LO. These are some of my all time fave pics of Natalia.

Everything from Karla Dudley @ After Five Designs.

Toodles!

Wow.

ETA: See here and here for more info. I have decided to do this, cause I have found more people defrauded by this person.
Thankfully I did NOT send her anything before...
Her name is Jennifer Starr and goes by jennystarr and stillsmiling on the message boards

That's all I have to say. I never thought I'd encounter one of those people you only hear about in everyone else's horror stories.

Back in March, I received an order for LOTS and LOTS of custom work from my jewelry line.

I made 6 necklaces, five bracelets, and 5 pairs of earrings.

LOTS. About $440.00 worth of it.

I was so excited to be getting request after request from this person for more pieces.

I used so many of my materials (silver, 14k goldfill, findings, stones, etc), but I knew that once I got paid for all the items I had made, I'd be able to replenish my supplies.

Fast forward 7 months, many unanswered e-mails, and a ridiculous $35.00 Paypal payment, and now it turns out that:

- she didn't really like the things
- I made the work without her asking for it
- I hid my prices from her.

WTF?

She didn't really like the things...???

OMG!!!! EVERYTHING IS ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!!!
You did a fanastic job!! Love it all!!!

Is there anything left of the multi-gems or the malachite? I would love some sort of a matching bracelet with the multi-gems... if there is anything left...

LOVE everything - so excited ....

She had no idea the bill would be so high...????

...two different necklaces one with chalcedony and the other with rose quartz or the green prehinite that you have used...

YES would love a bracelet!!! :)

Thanks for explaining the gold fill stuff - do you think the malachite would look better with the gold fill than the silver??

All quotes taken from her e-mails to me... (those grammatical errors are not mine).

Then she offers to start giving me $100 a month starting in September.
I figure it's better than never seeing a cent, right?

Well, September's come and gone, and not a cent.

Serves me right for doing the work without receiving payment BEFORE I started.

I thought she was a friend. I met her through a message board, and I really thought she could be trusted.

Um, not really!!!

I have refunded her $35.00 payment (for a more than $400.00 bill), canceled the Paypal invoice I sent her, and made peace with the fact that I got ROYALLY SCREWED.

I had to undo all the work (the stones she sent me to work with are not up to the quality standards that I use on my pieces) so, I cannot sell them on my shop, like she had the nerve to suggest.
I had to take it all apart, waste tons of silver and gold fill wire (which I cannot reuse), and also have to pay to send her stones back.

This sucks.

I needed to vent.

I hate doing this but I am really hurt. She's accusing me of making things without her asking, of hiding my prices from her, of making things she didn't like. All false.

Enough of this. I never want to make another post as awful as this one.

Still here...

I know I have seriously neglected the blog lately. Having Nati home all day, leaves time for little else.
I don't mind, though. She starts kindergarten in August and I am gonna miss her so much...

I have started working on new pieces for Handmade by ANILU. I am really liking what I have made so far, and I really hope you do too ;)

Don't forget, I do custom work, so if you have a necklace in mind, just let me know and we'll make it happen together (anilumagloire@yahoo.com).

This is my fave so far. I wish you could see the wood in person. It has beautiful grain. The pics don't do it justice.
This one is loooong. More than 36". Love it!

This is one of my most popular pieces. The silk, ebony and Swarovski crystal necklace.
Here the wood looks very dark too, but you can see the grain in real life. Just beautiful.

These stones are just begging to be put together in something. I am still working on that one...

These are the new ebony pendant shapes I have. The color is deep and rich, but the grain still shows throughout.

Before I leave you I want to send a big shout out to my Daddy. He had his 66th birthday last week. Can you believe this handsome boy is 66???

Love you!!

Toodles.

The last of it.

This is it. The last of the LOs I have to share. I hope you're not fed up with my posts full of pages :)

This is my sweet girl all dolled up as a Mexican señorita for Columbus day. She looked adorable!!

This are just some random shots of her sweet face. She loved the camera and always gives me her best poses.

This is one of my fave pages and pics. My niece Paulina and Natush, being silly together.

A tribute page to my beloved scrap space. I kept it sper simple but I really like the result.

And, finally, my girlie girl with her peeps at Disney back in January.

Thank you all so much for the kind comments about the book. I am just so happy and excited about it. I loved being able to finally share it with you.

I have really been neglecting my Etsy shop, but no more!!! I am gonna spend the whole afternoon working on new stuff, so be on the lookout.

I'm off to stalk the UPS man... :)

Details + Handmade by ANILU=...

Rita Weiss, super scrapper extrahordinaire, asked me to create a line exclusive to her beautiful store in New Hampshire, called Details.

She sells the most beautiful things in that store and I am thrilled that she thought about my stuff to add to her goodies!

These will only be available at her store, or through Details' website , which will go live in March.

If you are lucky enough to live near by, you have to go to Details. It's a must.

Thank you so much, Rita!
