I ache...

To see this again when driving back home.

Here's hoping it happens sooner rather than later.

Have a wonderful day!

I'm still at it.

Not much to share today. Just a couple more pages I created lately.

This one has my favorite people in the world and I get to see them today after being apart for soooo long. I am so excited. WHOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!

This one I made for The BASB challenge No. 17. All about Summer.

That's it. Have a groovy day.

So that's how brushes work...

I had no idea whatsoever how to use brushes in Photoshop, but I finally figured it out.

I played with them for a while and this is what came of it...

I have been very drawn to combining strong, vivid colors with gray and I kinda like how they look together.

Toodle-oo!

The MacBook is getting quite the workout...

I just can't seem to stop!!

All my free time is spent scrapping. I am finally really using the hundreds of digital kits I have amassed ever since I got into digi.

This is one of my all time fave pics of the girls together.

Lots of old pics of moi.

My girlie girl wearing her very first swimsuit righ before we headed to the pool. I could just eat those chubby legs!!!

Yes, I love those woodgrainy papers a little too much...

Digi madnessssss!!!

As I'm sure you've figured out by now, I am going through scrap stuff withdrawal, and digital scrapbooking is like my very own nicotine patch.

All my stuff is in storage in Miami while we spend a few months in Mexico and so, digital it is.

I am slowly learning my way around Photoshop and I am really, really loving it. The more I learn, the harder it is to stay off the Mac.

You will be seeing LOTS of digi stuff in the coming weeks... Hope you like.

These are some of the pages I have made since I've been here...

That last page is made with Paislee Press digtal products. You know how I hoard rubber stamps whenever I can? Well Paislee Press is the new "rubber stamp".

Her kits are just made for me.

I just gotta to rant about this atrocity.

So, here I am listening to the TV as background noise while I do my nails, when I look up and see The Goodbye Girl on the info label thingy on my Tivo.

I am soooo happy. This is one of my all time fave movies. It's from 1977 and it stars Richard Dreyfuss and Marsha Mason. Amazing movie.

You gotta watch it if you haven't yet.

Back from commercial. Get ready.... It's that awful Patricia Heaton and Jeff Daniels in the worse copy/remake of what I consider a great movie that should have been left alone.

How dare they????

There, I just had to get this out of my system. Ugh!

I miss her so, so much...

I found this amazing picture of my Grandma surrounded by her grand and great grandchildren on the last Christmas I got to spend with her.

It's just so hard, being here now that she's gone...

She was an anchor for me in many ways and I still can't fully process that I will no longer get to see her or talk to her.

Cherish the ones you love and tell them NOW, when they're still here, how much they mean to you.

Gotta have it!

So, now that we're yet again being bombarded with the latest and greatest, have you found the item you just have to have?

Of course, you know I have. In fact I have found 3:

Must.Have.This.NOW!!!!! I get to make my very own letterpress goodies???? Oh, yeah!
It's by a new company created by Quickutz called Lifestyle Crafts.
Get all the info here.

These clear stamps by American Crafts. That font, Cocktail Shaker, is one of my all time faves and the rub ons AC makes with that same font are kinda hard to find.

Imagine my excitement when I saw it turned into these great tiny alpha stamps.

Need.Them.

And this little beauty... How cool is this? Such a great way to display some of your creations in a non cheesy way. Love the dark wood color and how they recreated such a cool vintage item. Seven Gypsies never disappoints.

Good thing these companies are not in the habit of keeping us waiting for ages to get their product.

If you see these online before I do, you just gotta let me know!!!

Boy, am I in trouble...

Look at my six (yes, you heard right, SIX) year old girlie...

She wasn't able to get together with her cousin Paulina, so they had to do the next best thing... Chat for hours at a time on the phone, while playing the same game online. Each of them on their very own MacBook, I might add.

Yes, I am in deep, deep trouble.

Here's a quick and simple digi page I made with these pics...

She makes me laugh every single day...

Joy.

Just a little page from one of our days at the park.
That girl brings so much JOY into my life it's not even funny...

Just something pretty.

I had lunch with my dad and my sis the other day at a very famous Mexican restaurant and this is what the roof of one of the dining rooms looks like...

It just made me happy.

Enjoy!

She's six!

Whaaa?? When??

Yes, I have a six year old perfect little girl.

She makes me happier than anything ever has, or ever will.

She hugs me every day the second she opens her beautiful eyes.

She makes me laugh out loud.

She is my life!

She had a great birthday party at my grandma's beautiful home and she had a blast with her cousins.
We grilled some burgers and hot dogs and had such a good time.

I really, really missed those family gatherings.

Some pics of the festivities...

Great times!

Karla, Karla, Karla!

Right before her gorgeous new twin baby boys arrived, Miss Karla Dudley, gave me more of her per-fect digital kits to play with.

How can you possibly resist these???

I want to eat this one! The colors are just yummy and no one makes embellies quite like her.

This is just a classic.

And this one... Oh, how I wish I had my printer with me right now. I'd be producing mini books like crazy with this baby.

You can get these kits at The Digi Chick Boutique.

Here are two of the many LOs I created with them...

Nati on her last day of kindergarten in Miami.

Terribly shameless lifts...

There is such a huge amount of inspiration out there, that when my mojo decides to leave, I no longer despair.

I scrap lift. Shamelessly scrap lift.

My first victim was Waleska. I so want to scrap like her when I grow up... Thanks for the inspiration, W!

And the second was Ali Edwards. I got her very cool circle embellishments and I loved the page she made so much, that I had to make one just like it for my Nati.

There. I admit it. I lift.

Go find someone to lift too :)

Organizing iPhoto.

I was trying to organize my iPhoto picutres and I found these, of Nati's lasts days of Pre-K.

I love, LOVE these pics and I hadn't scrapped them so here are a couple of pages done with them...

I got my inspiration for this one from Label Tulip's blog. This little bit was created by the super talented Alexis Hardy, whose work I adore...

This is my new fave digital overlay. Those paint splattters are just so , so cool...

These pictures I think are the cutest, most gorgeous things ever!!!

Smile!

For the love of all things bicycle.

This beauty combines my love for luscious letterpressed paper, the color blue and it's a bike.

Dude!! It's perfect.

I do have to say that Etsy is a very dangerous place for me...
