On an organizing kick.

Since the overwhelming amount of scrap crap I have amassed has completely killed my mojo, I decided to revisit, reduce, reorganize and purge the stuff I have.

I got rid of a lot of stamps I didn't like and so I had to redo my stamp index.
It took forever, I stained my fingers like crazy and it was pretty tedious but I love, LOVE the end result.

Now I have the urge to stamp, stamp, stamp!!!

I used to keep the sets together, but now I broke them apart into categories. Easier to find what I want.

Some flowers...

Silhouettes, birds, butterflies...

Swirls, leaves, tress...

Geometric shapes...

Large backgrounds...

Various images, tags...

Lots of labels which I love and don't use enough..

Chandeliers, lanterns, damasks...

Vintagey images, valentines & love...

Some very cool various images...

Some of my alphabets...

Without a doubt my fave scrap thing are stamps. I adore my collection and I never pass up an opportunity to add to it.

I found these two at Paperbag Studios. I love anything with numbers on it and these two had my name written all over them.

Now, I have to go use them instead of fondling them...

Go be creative.

Getting organized

I've been in a downsizing/purging/get organized mood lately.

I'm pretty sure the reason my mojo's been M.I.A for so long is that I get overwhelmed by the amount of stuff I have.

It's just too much.

So, in that spirit, here are some of the things I do to keep my things organized and at hand, so I actually see and use them...

This is an oldie but goodie. The Clip it Up. I'd get two more if I had the space for them. They are life savers.

This is another one of those brilliant buys that I truly love. Making Memories desktop carousel.

Lots of bins to keep my punches handy but contained. From Container Store ad Target.

I made an index of all my punches so I don't have to go look for them in my bins and drawers.
Size is written on top of each image.

My beautiful stamp index. A 3 ring binder where I have stamped the images of every single stamp I have. This way I just have to go through the index instead of through every huge stamp binder to know what I have.

I got this ink pad storage thingy from ebay. I. LOVE. IT. I am actually stamping more since they are right there and I can see the colors I have.
This is another one of those things I plan on getting multiples of when space permits.

Here I cut all the shapes of Nestabilities I have and attached them to a loose leaf ring. Another way to keep them at hand and quickly know what I have in order to use, use, use them!!!

The actual dies are stored in Quickutz's magnetic books.

That's it!

What do you do to keep your stash in order? Share.

Never too late, I say.

Since I have been loving all the December Daily albums out there, I decided to start mine.
I am gonna use it to record the stuff we did during the Holidays even if it's not every single day.

My desk hasn't looked like this in ages. It makes me happy...

It's Monday morning, so I'm off to start my day.

Later.

Random Wednesday

My gorgeous Natush with all the great gifts my friend Gilda sent her (along with my beloved Fiskars Treading Water punch!!!!!). She was so happy and excited to be getting stuff in the mail.

She took all her goodies and staged them on my bed like this and asked me to take her pic.
She is a sweetie pie!!

Thank you so much, Gilda!!!!

I finally got my Making Memories desktop organizer and I LOVE it. My desk is free of clutter and I have all this free space to create.
It holds tons of stuff, right there where you can see it while you're using it, but out of the way.

Of course, my desk is a mess right now, cause I am making cards. I am on a card kick and lovin' it.

Another HUGE score I got over the weekend, was the infamous Martha Stewart embossed scalloped edge punch.
It was a Christmas release and flew off the shelves before I could get one.
Well, this past weekend, my scrap pals and I went to a scrap store and I found one!!!! I could not believe my eyes. SCORE!!!

I found this great kit while reading Maria Grace's blog. I LOVED what she had done with it and I just had to have it.

Then I saw the mini Ali created and oh, am I glad I got it.

Check it out. It is so cool and chock full of delish goodies.
I am not a big fan of CK's kits but this one, I loved.

That's all the randomness I have for y'all today.

Go and enjoy the day.

Toodles!

Score!

She's finally mine!! I did like Gigi, and asked at my local Pier 1, if they would sell me the floor model of their gorgeous Project Desk and they did!!! Not only was it on clearance, but I got an extra 20% off.

You can see more of my scrap space and find out the details on Work In Progress's blog.

I can't stop looking at it. Now if I could get some mojo to work on it, it would be super...

Have a wonderful weekend. I'm off to watch Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium!!

I've been a busy girl...

I really have!! I have been scrapping everyday, and making stuff I really like :)
This page I had started more than a month ago and it sat on my desk forever. Finally, the other day I got inspired and finished it.
I took that pic and I had been dying to use my MME transparencies and acrylic embellishments.

This is what my desk looks like... I need to scan all those pages and put them in their albums already :)

I created a few new pieces for Handmade by Anilu. I especially love this one. I also need to get busy creating a banner for the Esty shop.

Another project I started is my 7 Gypsies ATC holder. I was inspired by Vee's and Michelle's cards and I just had to make mine!!

I am having lots of fun with them and I like that I get the instant gratification of creating a finished card in a few minutes!!!

I saw American Gangster yesterday. Great movie, amazing performances and it's very entertaining. Plus, looking at Denzel's gorgeousness for a couple of hours is a necessity :)

Phunktography...

The super cool, and awesome photographer, Josh Ulmer was kind enough to give me a copy of his amazing photograph "Robin's Egg". I have always loved the color and this pic is perfect to me.

I will frame it and hang it in my scrap space.

See more of his amazing pics here. Enjoy!

Thank you so much, Josh!

I got my Clip it Up and I LOVE it. Having all my stuff right there where I can see it and, most important, USE it :)
I'd get lots more if I could, but I have to say this: it is enormously overpriced. It's nothing but a few pieces if plastic, a metal ring and the bag of clips. They really have to rethink the price...

This is my lastest LO. I used my gorgeous Stampin Up "Dotted" background stamp. It's in the new Fall/Winter SU catalog.
The patterned paper is new Scenic Route and the ribbon is American Crafts.
I had been meaning to scrap that pic of my mom and I finally just did it.
Hope you like it!

That's it for now, my lovelies! Have a great weekend :)
