My gorgeous Grandmother passed away yesterday morning.
I have lost a piece of my heart...
She was a force of nature.
Larger than life.
She left and indelible mark in my life and I will miss her presence in this world every second of my life.

Ma'am, step away from the Mac, please.
Um, I think not.
I am so addicted to digi, it's not even funny!
I love that I can make different versions of the same LO if I feel like changing the colors.
Patterned paper, stitches, borders, butterfly brad, circles by Karla Dudley @ After Five Designs.
Patterned papers, labels, stickers, hand written brush, butterfly, brad and stitches by Karla Dudley @ After Five Designs.
As you can see, my love for those butterflies in never ending!
Another thing I love about this, is being able to change the size of my pics in a second.
I had never used such big pics on my LOs and I am kinda liking it. A lot.
A new week, also means new digi kit from Karla!!!
Look at this beeeeoutiful one. All about pohotography.
I am gonna be playing with this baby a lot... Here's a little peek.
Have a groovy Tuesday.

I made these a few days ago for a custom order.
Don't they look like candy?

More digi madness!!!
ETA: My dear, wonderful, Photoshop master husband has been helping me A LOT.
There honey, I said it ;)

Random
I had this beautiful stack of fresh pics from Scrapbookpictures.com sitting on my desk. They have been turned into a mini for my Disney trip last month.
Here's what I've done with them:
It definitely still is a work in progress. It needs LOTS of journaling and embellishments, but the basic structure of it is done.
I used a Creative Imaginations Creative Cafe 3 ring album and inside pages, and lots and lots of American Crafts Moma letter stickers, which I adore!
The cover is a blatant lift of Laura Kurz, whom I adore.
Now lookie here... My Dad got me a brand spanking new 3G iPhone!!! I was so lusting after it and I am loving it in white.
Such a great little phone. How did I live without it, I'll never know.
Also, finally got my copy of Ali's latest book. Such a cool one. They all outdid them selves with those books.
Tons and tons of inspiration and great ideas. You definitely need it.
I just lifted the cover of a book by Laura Kurz for my Disney mini. Gorgeous stuff!!
I'm off to start the day and exercise a little. I need to move!!!!
Later, homes.

I've gone digi crazy!!!
Yes, I have.
I am having a blast playing with Karla Dudley @ After Five Designs' kits.
If like me you have never tried digi before, get one of these kits and give it a try. You will be hooked. I know I am.
Plus, you get a boat load of supplies for such a low price. Doesn't get any better than that.
This week I got two new ones!!
Artist In Me...
Digi Essentials 2...
These are the LOs I made using those, and other kits, from Karla too.
I could use those butterflies on every single page... Oh, wait, I have ;)
Can you tell I'm obsessed with her circle links????
The butterflies had my name written all over them.
Glossy brads are my all time fave supply and these kits are chock full of them.
Those circle links are like a wish come true for me. I even had a stamp custom made once, just so I could have them. Now I have LOTS, indifferent colors and styles. YAY!!
So many phrases and words in Karla's A-MA-ZING handwriting.
Kraft, different textures, felt, Oh my!!!!!!!
Gotta go play with them some more...

This was her baby.
I just sent out the last circle journal where Aleida made a page.
The whole idea of it was hers, and she used to keep us in line and up to our deadlines.
This is the entry she made for Dawn's journal.
It's all full of passion and color like she was...
I had been putting it off, cause it was hard for me to open the journal again to work on it.
My deadline finally caught up with me, so I made my pages.
It was all about music and what it means to us.
Once I started, it came easy.
I know she was around...

I've been experimenting...
The super talented gals over at The Design Experiment, invited me to host this week's challenge on their blog!
The theme was the soundtrack of your life. Scrapping those songs that mean something to you.
I chose Clocks by Coldplay.
The last time I went to Mexico, I had this song blasting on my iPod as we were preparing for landing.
If you've ever been to Mexico, you know it's a HUGE city. When you get there by night, there is no end to the lights below. It's a spectacle!
This song, always takes me to that window seat on an airplane.
I miss my home, my family...
I loved being a part of their experiment!
Happy Tuesday.

Why I love to blog.
Damn, I miss her and her messages...
I am so glad Greta had the amazing idea of making a Blurb book of Aleida's blog.
Greta, you rock, girl!!!
I know y'all are dying to know who that horrible person was, so look at the ETA on my previous post...
Onto much happier stuff...
I'm very happy to finally be able to share the first kit I got to work with from Karla Dudley @ After Five Designs.
Such cool, elegant colors!
I loved how they look printed on paper, so if you're baaaad at digi like me, you can still use these kits.
I will share my pages soon ;)
