A new week!

Unlike most people I don't hate Mondays. I like the possibility of a brand new week ahead.
I have lots to do these days. I have a Drs. appointment tomorrow, I have to go renew my driver's license, create more pieces for Handmade by ANILU, I want to go to the movies and see Dan in Real Life and send out my first ever circle journal!!

The girls from Work In Progress' DT are gonna be my first cj participants and I am so excited!!
I used a little 6x6 Heidi Swapp mini and SEI paper. I kinda like the way it came out :)








Here are some of the new pieces I added to Etsy ... I love the color of these pearls and it's just a perfect necklace for fall.
The red coral branch necklace is my favorite piece by far. I sooo want one...






Another thing I've wanted to do for a long time was make a page about my BFF Barb. I loved playing with this Prima paintables paper from Studio Calico's October kit. I love how it turned out and I hope she likes it too. I just have to do a little journaling and, voila!
Isn't she beautiful?!?! The best part is that she is beautiful inside AND out. She is my support in hard times and my scrap buddy extraordinaire. I don't know what I'd do without her.

Last, but not least, like many, I am into felt and stitching in my pages. I love the texture and dimension it gives to a page. This is a little detail on a LO I did last week.

Look who's a fan of Handmade by ANILU!!!!! Yes, that is Miss Ali Edwards herself, with my dear friend Vanessa (at CKU Orlando, just a few days ago) wearing one of my necklaces.

Here's the whole enchilada!

Here are my LOs for Work in Progress' November kit. I have it on good authority that there's like 3 left, so if you haven't yet, go get yours now!!!

I really loved working with the felt and fabric, and the 7 Gypsies mini is so cool! Also, every wonderful thing you've heard about the Sharpie paint marker is true! You need one, like yesterday.

Today she has a function at school for cultural diversity and she had to dress the part.

It cracks me up how she poses for all the pics and wants to see the results immediately!




I'm off to finish cleaning this house and then I want to catch a movie.
Later, I'm going to barb's to scrap and I have new goodies to scrap with, so I'm very excited.

Oh, how I loved...

I spent the whole afternoon yesterday making jewelry and listening to music. I did some very nice stuff that will be up on my Etsy shop later today.


My dad's back from Mexico today and I'm having lunch with Barb so I'm off to get ready.

A very productive weekend.

I want to start by saying a BIG THANK YOU!! To all the gals who have become clients, thank you so much. I know you will love and enjoy your jewelry as much as I loved making it for you.

Friday I spent the afternoon at Barb's, scrapping. I made 2 LO I really love and I am gonna submit them for pub for the first time ever. Yes, I am a pub virgin!! At least until the spring when my work appears on Crystal Jeffrey Rieger's book (!!!!!!).

My dear and competitive friend from Studio Calico, Emily, is pushing me to do this, and I am getting very excited about it.

I have been checking the calls for pages, and I have some I can use right now!!





I spent all Saturday shopping for shipping supplies and working hard on creating more pieces for Handmade by ANILU on Etsy.

I am off to watch all the Sunday season premieres. I am so excited about Brothers And Sisters. Love that show.
