It must be the slight chill in the air, but I am feeling extra crafty lately. So, when the folks at coupons.com contacted me about a creating a Fall craft project, I said, oh yeah! I love and use cupons.com all the time. There is nothing like finding a great deal and discounts to get anything from groceries to materials for a home improvement project.
They were kind enough to provide me with a gift certificate to amazon.com to get supplies and I immediately thought of my Thanksgiving table setting this year. I know it's a little soon, but I gotta get ready, y'all.
I used my Silhouette Cameo machine to cut these awesome little fall leaves and used them to create my menus, place cards and a little treat box to give my guests as they leave.
I used craft card stock which I adore and textured card stock in different colors for the leaves and feathers.
I arranged them on top of each other until I found a combo I liked and attached to my place cards, menu envelopes and goodie boxes.
I have been a little obsessed with baker's twine so I had to include it in my project. I used a Crop-a-dile to create a little notch on the sides to keep the twine from sliding off the cards.
The menus were printed on Paper Source's beautiful paper with dark brown ink.
Here's how they turned out:
To get you in a crafty mood, coupons.com wants to offer you the chance to win a $200.00 gift card to Amazon or Home Depot to create your own Fall craft project. How awesome is that? Very.
The contest is open to US residents only and closes at 12:00 am on September 23rd.
To enter all you have to do is follow cupons.com on Google+ and like the Facebook pages of these other super talented crafters who also created a project for the Blogger Fall Project Extravaganza.
